Fatal Maxton shooting death of Quazariya G. Williams – Obituary
MAEXTON, N.C. – Authorities have identified 7-year-old Quazariya G. Williams as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon. Around 2 p.m., police responded to a shooting on E. Graham Street, where Dedric Page, 31, allegedly fired into a car with six people inside, including the young girl. Williams was rushed to Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, where she later died from her injuries. Page was arrested shortly after the incident and faces charges including first-degree murder, attempted murder, and firearms violations. Police believe the shooting stemmed from a dispute between Page and the victim’s mother.
