Raymond Getty, 68, of New London, has tragically passed away after being struck by a vehicle on Broad Street in New London on October 9. Getty was riding a scooter when a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Francha J. Francis collided with him. The crash occurred just before 11 a.m., and Getty was transported to L+M Hospital but succumbed to his injuries two days later.
Getty, known as a kind and caring individual, worked at a local Walmart for over 10 years.
