Authorities have identified 77-year-old Neil Bickhard as the victim of a fire that occurred on Saturday evening in Hicksville, Ohio. Firefighters were called to a blaze above the Subway restaurant at 103 W. High St. around 6:20 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Bickhard unresponsive in his apartment. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The fire is under investigation by local officials and the Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office.
