Fatal Louisville shooting death of Shan Spanjers – Obituary
Shan Spanjers, 44, lost his life after being shot multiple times in Louisville’s Parkland neighborhood. The Louisville Metro Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 1000 block of South 26th Street around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, where they found Spanjers with serious gunshot wounds.
Spanjers was immediately transported to a hospital, but he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities reported that the incident arose from an altercation involving several individuals, all of whom have now been identified.
As of this time, police have not announced any charges related to the incident.
