Howard I. Zaibel dies in fatal Bedford, NY crash
Fatal Bedford, NY crash results in death of Howard I. Zaibel – Obituary
Howard I. Zaibel, 54, of Brewster, New York, tragically passed away in a crash on I-684 early Tuesday morning. Around 5:15 a.m., Zaibel was driving a 2021 Kia Sportage southbound on the interstate when, for reasons still under investigation, his vehicle veered off the road and collided with a stationary 1995 International Harvester tractor-trailer parked near the Bedford rest area. Zaibel was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital, where he was declared dead. The New York State Police continue their investigation into the cause of the crash.
