Fatal Kansas City shooting death of Waleed Shaban – Obituary
Waleed Shaban has been identified as the victim of a deadly shooting in Kansas City Thursday afternoon.
Police responded to a shooting report in the 300 block of East Linwood Boulevard just before 1 p.m. Officers were directed to a nearby business where they found Shaban, who had been shot and was unresponsive. Emergency medical services pronounced him dead at the scene.
Authorities quickly located and arrested a suspect, with preliminary reports suggesting the shooting followed an argument between the victim and the suspect.
