Fatal Cork crash death of Brandon O’Connell Walsh, 21 – Obituary
Brandon O’Connell Walsh, 21, tragically lost his life in a car crash near Mallow, Cork, on Friday, November 15. The accident occurred at approximately 5:10 p.m. near Cecilstown when his car collided with another vehicle. Brandon, from Dromagh, Cork, but originally from Banteer, was fatally injured in the incident and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His local GAA club, Dromtariffe GAA, expressed deep condolences, describing him as a kind and determined young man who will be missed by all who knew him. Tributes poured in from friends and former schoolmates, remembering him for his cheerful spirit and strong character. He is survived by his parents, Susan and Tony, and his brothers Christian, Charlie, Luke, and Anthony. His funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.
Gardaí are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has dash-cam footage from the area to come forward. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
