Fatal Richland shooting death of Michael Perkins – Obituary

Richland Police are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of 36-year-old Michael Perkins on Saturday, Nov. 16. The incident occurred in an alley near the Uptown Shopping Center, where Perkins was involved in a confrontation with another man.

 

The suspect shot Perkins multiple times before fleeing the scene. Emergency crews arrived quickly and attempted to save Perkins, but he succumbed to his injuries. Authorities believe the shooting was an isolated incident.

 

The Richland Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact them at (509) 942-7340, referencing case number 24-048510.
