Fatal Reading shooting death of Paul W. Montgomery Jr. – Obituary
Paul W. Montgomery Jr., 53, tragically died after a shooting near The Lounge Bar and Restaurant on Reading Road on Saturday night. Police were called to the scene around 11:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a man shot in the chest. Officers found Montgomery in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to UC Medical Center by Reading EMS but was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not released information on a suspect, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Reading Police Department.
