Fatal Thomaston crash death of Lester Y. Rivera-Santiago – Obituary
Lester Y. Rivera-Santiago, 41, from Waterbury, Connecticut, tragically lost his life in a fiery crash on Route 8 in Thomaston on November 12. According to state police, Rivera-Santiago was driving a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck when he lost control, struck a wire rope railing in the median, and the vehicle became fully engulfed in flames. Despite emergency responders’ efforts, Rivera-Santiago was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash also caused significant damage to the wire railing, which was later assessed to be approximately 250 feet in length. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
