Fatal Baton Rouge shooting death of Eric Taylor – Obituary
Eric Taylor, a 14-year-old boy, succumbed to his injuries days after being shot on Plank Road near Winbourne Avenue in Baton Rouge on the evening of Wednesday, November 13. According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Taylor was struck by gunfire when a shooter fired from a passing vehicle while he was walking along Plank Road.
The suspect, identified as 19-year-old Dylan Thomas Fox, has been arrested and faces charges including first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of a weapon, and assault by a drive-by shooting.
The motive for the attack remains unclear, and authorities have stated that additional arrests may follow as the investigation continues.
