Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade confirmed Mulconrey’s identity during a press conference on Wednesday morning while discussing recent homicides in the area.
Authorities continue to investigate this case, along with another homicide that occurred on the same day. This brings Jackson’s reported homicides to 102 for the year, with 96 handled by the city’s police department.
