Fatal Austin crash death of Angela Cantu – Obituary
Austin Police Department (APD) detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect involved in a fatal crash that occurred on November 3, 2024. At approximately 7:35 p.m., a vehicle struck pedestrian Angela Cantu in the 600 block of W Ben White SVRD EB. The 42-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to her injuries. The driver fled the scene after the incident.
The suspect vehicle was seen exiting the 7-Eleven parking lot, turning north onto South 1st Street, and then heading east on Ben White SVRD. APD’s Vehicular Homicide Unit continues to investigate the case.
