Samuel White, a South Kingstown native, and Andres Naranjo, originally from Weymouth, Massachusetts, tragically passed away in a car crash on Mumford Road in Narragansett early Saturday morning, November 16, 2024. The crash, involving a single vehicle, claimed both of their lives at the scene, while two others were hospitalized.
White, a graduate of South Kingstown High School, was known for his vibrant personality and love for boating, which led him to a career as a yacht broker. His adventurous spirit was evident in his hobbies, which ranged from traveling and skydiving to working on super yachts. His family and friends remember him as a bright light who lived life to the fullest.
Naranjo, a graduate of the University of Tampa, worked as an Assistant Vice President of Business Development at Captive Resources. His friends and family describe him as a person who effortlessly connected with others and spread joy. Naranjo was passionate about sports, particularly soccer, tennis, golf, and pickleball, and was always striving to improve himself both physically and mentally.
Both men are remembered by their loved ones for their positive impact on the people around them and their shared zest for life. Separate memorial services will honor their legacies.
