A 57-year-old man from Lake Cormorant, Tell Raquel Landeverde, tragically lost his life on Tuesday night when he was struck by a car near Tunica. The Mississippi Highway Patrol reported that Landeverde was hit by a Kia Sportage driven by a 42-year-old man.
The incident occurred just after 8 p.m. on Highway 4. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
