Fatal Northeast Portland shooting death of Mark A. Holley – Obituary
Authorities have identified Mark A. Holley, a resident of Portland, as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred in the Wilkes Neighborhood earlier this week.
According to the Portland Police Bureau, the incident took place on Monday evening in the 15900 block of Northeast Fremont Street. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at 5:46 p.m. Upon their arrival, they found Holley deceased at the scene.
The Multnomah County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Holley’s death was caused by a gunshot wound and ruled it a homicide. Following the identification, Holley’s family released his photograph to the public.
Investigators are continuing to gather information about the shooting. Authorities urge anyone with details to contact the Portland Police Bureau.
