Fatal Maysville, Kentucky crash death of Joshua Mark Wells and Latasha Kay Wells – Obituary
A tragic crash in Maysville, Kentucky, on November 16, 2024, resulted in the deaths of Joshua Mark Wells, 39, and his wife, Latasha Kay Wells, 44. The couple, from Germantown, was in their vehicle on AA Highway when it was rear-ended by a Nissan Xterra driven by William Darnell. The collision forced their car into the path of an oncoming vehicle, and the couple was tragically killed.
Authorities found that Darnell and his brother, Joshua Darnell, had been drinking prior to the crash. William Darnell faces charges, including vehicular homicide and driving under the influence. His brother Joshua, initially charged with intoxication and leaving the scene, is now facing additional charges for providing false identification and identity theft. The investigation is ongoing, and both men remain in custody.
