Two men, Nathan Vogelsang, 24, and his passenger, 19-year-old Landen Comer, were killed in a tragic crash in southern Indiana on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. The accident occurred on US 421, just north of Versailles, when Vogelsang lost control of his truck for reasons still under investigation, crossing into the opposite lane where he collided head-on with a semi-truck.
While the truck driver, 34-year-old Oleh Hrudnenko, suffered minor injuries, Vogelsang and Comer tragically died at the scene. The crash shut down US 421 for several hours as authorities investigated and cleared the wreckage. Initial reports suggest no signs of alcohol or drugs being involved. The investigation is ongoing.
