Fatal Bath County car crash death of Chase Benten Killingsworth – Obituary.
Chase Benten Killingsworth, 39, tragically lost his life in a car crash on November 27 in Bath County. The crash occurred around 2:40 p.m. on Route 39, approximately three-tenths of a mile east of Route 643.
According to Virginia State Police, Killingsworth was driving a Ford F-250 pickup eastbound on Route 39 when he ran off the road. He overcorrected and collided with a tree. Police noted that Killingsworth was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash, and speed was a contributing factor to the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
