Fatal Baton Rouge hit-and-run death of Honeybeth Hood – Obituary
On Monday night, November 25, 2024, a hit-and-run crash claimed the life of 53-year-old Honeybeth Hood in Baton Rouge. Police responded to the scene just after 11 p.m. on O’Neal Lane near South Harrell’s Ferry Road, where they found Hood had been struck by a vehicle, believed to be a silver or gray sedan, possibly a Honda, headed south.
The vehicle, which may have front-end damage, fled the scene, and the driver has not yet been located. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers.
