Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal shooting that took place on Saturday evening in West Columbia. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department reported that 24-year-old Bradley Freeman Tucker was shot and killed at the Riverbend Apartments, located on Riverbend Drive near North Lucas Street. While specific details of the incident remain limited, law enforcement quickly arrested a suspect shortly after the shooting occurred.

 

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Tucker died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. Investigators with the sheriff’s department have spoken with nearby residents and processed the scene, gathering potential evidence.

 

An autopsy is scheduled for December 4 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not released the identity of the suspect.
