An 18-year-old woman, Ashley Dominguez, tragically lost her life in a shooting early Sunday morning in South Nashville. The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. outside an after-hours club on Murfreesboro Pike. Police report that an argument escalated, leading to shots being fired at a car carrying five people, including Dominguez and two other women, both 19 years old.

The vehicle, with the victims inside, drove to a nearby parking lot after realizing the women had been injured. Dominguez later died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, while the other two women received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. Police are continuing their investigation and have interviewed several witnesses. No suspect or motive has been identified as of now.
