Cedric D. Willis, a 42-year-old resident of Vancouver, Washington, was tragically killed in a rollover accident on Northeast Airport Way on the evening of November 20. Authorities have confirmed that his family has been notified of this devastating loss.
According to the Portland Police Bureau, Willis was behind the wheel of a 2018 Ford F-150 when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned. Investigators have determined that excessive speed played a significant role in the crash, though the exact cause remains under investigation by the Major Crash Team.
The accident led to the temporary closure of the westbound lanes on Northeast Airport Way between Northeast 148th Avenue and Northeast 138th Avenue, while eastbound lanes remained open.
