Fatal New Orleans shooting death of Yasmeen Webb – Obituary

The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office has confirmed the tragic death of 27-year-old Yasmeen Webb, who was fatally shot during a violent incident in the French Quarter on Thursday. The shooting occurred around 12:20 p.m. near the intersection of Iberville and Royal Streets, where Webb was struck and ultimately succumbed to her injuries. Additionally, a 40-year-old man, a 39-year-old woman, and a 24-year-old man were wounded in the attack.

 

Authorities have identified Daniel Miorana as one of the alleged shooters, noting that he was wearing an ankle bracelet at the time of the incident. Police say Miorana, along with his brother Daniel Miorana and Darrell Adams, exited a vehicle and opened fire on the group. Daniel Miorana was arrested shortly after the shooting with the help of his ankle monitor, while his accomplices remain at large.
