Fatal Portland traffic death of Christy Lafferty – Obituary

Christy Lafferty, a 42-year-old woman from Fairview, tragically died after a hit-and-run incident in Southeast Portland on October 24. Portland police responded to the 9900 block of Southeast Stark Street, where Lafferty was found seriously injured. She was transported to the hospital but later passed away from her injuries.

Authorities believe that Lafferty had been clinging to the outside of a moving vehicle before falling off and being run over. The driver fled the scene but later spoke with investigators.
