Fatal Corpus Christi shooting death of Esteban Ramirez III – Obituary
Esteban Ramirez III, 47, was shot and killed at a Circle K gas station off I-37 in Corpus Christi on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28. Police arrived at the scene around 2:56 p.m. and found Ramirez in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
The suspected shooter, 33-year-old Julian Rodriguez, fled the scene but was arrested later that evening at approximately 9:30 p.m. Police confirmed that Rodriguez and Ramirez knew each other. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
