Jon Carlos Blancarcer, 28, and Hector Sajo, 26, were tragically killed in a mass shooting on Monday afternoon in Chicago’s Gage Park neighborhood.
The shooting occurred at a gathering in a home located on West 59th Street. Eight people, aged 20 to 35, were shot, and while two victims have been identified, a third person remains unidentified.
Authorities responded to the scene at 2:10 p.m., finding four men and four women injured. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, with police seeking information to identify the responsible individuals.
