Fatal Huntsville crash death of Brenda A. Rivera – Obituary

On Monday evening, 33-year-old Brenda A. Rivera of Huntsville was tragically killed in a head-on collision involving a box truck.

 

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the crash occurred at approximately 6:29 p.m. on Old Railroad Bed Road, near Northwest Rock Creek Boulevard.

 

Emergency responders transported Rivera to Huntsville Hospital for medical attention, but she succumbed to her injuries en route. The driver of the box truck, identified as 53-year-old Dionne E. Bishop, also sustained injuries and was taken to the same hospital for treatment.

 

The ALEA Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
