Gurasis Sing, a 22-year-old international student from India, tragically lost his life in a stabbing incident on December 1, 2024. Sing, who was studying business at Lambton College, was found deceased at a residence on Queen Street in Sarnia after police were called just before 5:00 a.m.
The victim had shared space in a rooming house with the person arrested in connection with the crime. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death, though they have stated that they do not believe the attack was racially motivated. Lambton College has offered support to the victim’s family and the college community during this difficult time.
