Fatal Union Township car crash death of Heather Weller – Obituary
Heather Weller, 36, of Minersville, tragically lost her life in a car crash near Ringtown on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred just before 1:00 p.m. on December 2, 2024, in the area of 144 Hill Field Road in Union Township. Authorities report that Weller’s vehicle struck a tree, causing entrapment. Emergency responders confirmed her death upon arrival, and the Schuylkill County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene.
Schuylkill County Coroner David Moylan III stated that a virtual autopsy and CT scan were conducted at the coroner’s facility in New Philadelphia. The official cause of death is pending toxicology results.
The crash remains under investigation by the Union Township Police Department.
