A tragic shooting in Victoria, Texas, has claimed the life of 3-year-old Marco Javier Garza Jr., affectionately known as MJ by his family.
The incident occurred Monday around 11 a.m. in the 13,000 block of North Navarro Street. Responding officers transported the young boy to a hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, Marco succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday morning, according to the Victoria Police Department.
Authorities have not disclosed additional information about the shooting. Child Protective Services and law enforcement are actively investigating the circumstances. An autopsy is underway, and results are pending.
