The Owensboro Police Department has confirmed the remains found along the riverbank in October belong to 60-year-old Michael Daugherty Sr., who had been missing since October 2.
The Daviess County Coroner’s Office identified the remains, and an autopsy revealed no signs of trauma. Authorities have found no evidence of foul play, and the investigation is ongoing. Daugherty’s family and community are mourning his loss.
