Fatal Middleboro house fire death of Nathaniel Williams – Obituary

Nathaniel Williams, 67, tragically passed away on December 3, 2024, after being trapped in his burning home for 18 minutes. The fire, which broke out at his residence on Locust Street in Middleboro, left Williams with severe burns and smoke inhalation.

Neighbors’ security footage revealed that the first responders were not alerted until 12 minutes after the flames became visible, and fire crews arrived six minutes after that.

Despite their efforts to rescue Williams, he succumbed to his injuries and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where he died. The Middleboro Fire Department expressed their deepest condolences to his family during this devastating time.
