Fatal Richmond County pedestrian death of Jerico Blair – Obituary

Jerico Blair, a 53-year-old homeless man, tragically died early this morning in Augusta, Georgia. Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen responded to the scene on Meadowbrook Drive around 1:50 a.m. where Blair was pronounced dead. The coroner’s office has scheduled an autopsy to determine the cause of death. This incident marks the second fatality involving a homeless pedestrian in just over two weeks, following a previous death on November 16, 2024. Authorities are continuing their investigation into this tragic accident.
