Fatal Jackson shooting death of John Blackmon – Obituary
Capitol Police are investigating a homicide that occurred at Club Paradise on Mill Street in Jackson. Officers arrived at the scene shortly after 9:30 a.m. on Friday, where they discovered 54-year-old John Blackmon near a pool table with two gunshot wounds.
Blackmon was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have yet to make any arrests in connection with the shooting.
