Fatal Fergus County hypothermia death of Kevin Burshia – Obituary
Kevin Burshia, 40, from Poplar, Montana, was found dead in a field near Moore, Montana, on December 2, 2024. Deputies discovered his vehicle parked on a gravel road with clothing scattered nearby, and a set of footprints leading into the field. After a two-mile search, Burshia’s body was found. An autopsy from the Montana State Crime Lab revealed signs of hypothermia, and alcohol or drugs may have contributed to his death. The investigation continues, with the Sheriff’s Office thanking all those involved in the search.
