The remains of Kimberly M. Osborne, 47, of Morgantown, have been identified following their discovery in a shallow grave on Little Indian Creek Road. Osborne had been reported missing in May after her vehicle was abandoned in the Granville area. The identification was confirmed through forensic analysis, digital evidence, and witness statements as part of an extensive investigation.
Authorities have declared her death a homicide, and the search for answers continues. Investigators from the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office, West Virginia State Police, ATF, FBI, and the Monongalia County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office have been working tirelessly to uncover the truth.
