Myeshia Moore dies in fatal Milwaukee, Wisconsin shooting
Fatal Milwaukee shooting death of Myeshia Moore – Obituary
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified 40-year-old Myeshia Moore as the woman found shot to death in a garbage cart behind Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milwaukee on Monday morning.
A passerby discovered Moore’s body in an alley near 38th and Lloyd streets. Authorities reported that she had been fatally shot and left in the trash cart. Investigators removed the cart as evidence, but no suspects have been identified at this time.
Moore’s family, primarily based in California, expressed their devastation and disbelief. Her cousin Lakesha Runnels shared that Moore had struggled with mental health challenges and had moved frequently in recent years. Despite these challenges, Lakesha fondly remembered Moore as a free-spirited and compassionate person who would always lend a hand to those in need.
Moore’s aunt, Dorris Runnels, urged anyone with information to come forward, stating, “Somebody knows who did it, and I hope and pray they find who did this to her because she didn’t deserve that.”
Milwaukee police have yet to make any arrests. They encourage anyone with information to contact them at 414-935-7360 or to remain anonymous by reaching out to Crime Stoppers at 414-224-TIPS or via the P3 Tips app.
