Nadir McCoy, a 19-year-old resident of Northwest, DC, was tragically killed in a shooting on Wednesday, December 4. The incident occurred at approximately 6:31 p.m. in an apartment building located in the 200 block of I Street, Southwest.
First District officers arrived on the scene and discovered McCoy inside an apartment unit. He was unconscious and unresponsive, suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services assessed McCoy and found no signs of life. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in connection with this violent crime.
