Fatal Fort Worth shooting death of Aurdie Evans – Obituary

A 40-year-old man, identified as Aurdie Evans, was fatally shot after an altercation with his brother on Saturday night in Fort Worth. The incident took place around 7 p.m. on December 7, in the 1400 block of Arbor Ridge Drive, located in east Fort Worth. Police arrived at the scene and found Evans dead inside his residence. Authorities detained his brother, who is believed to have been responsible for the shooting, pending further investigation.

 

The Fort Worth Police Department reported that the two brothers had been involved in a physical fight prior to the shooting. Although no formal arrests have been made, homicide detectives continue to investigate the case.
