Police in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, are investigating the tragic stabbing of 32-year-old Christopher Penado, which occurred on Saturday evening. Authorities responded to reports of a large altercation near 380 Social Street around 6 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Penado suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Emergency responders transported Penado to Landmark Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased from his injuries. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the homicide is ongoing.
