A tragic workplace accident claimed the life of 35-year-old Marendonio Francisco Viruel Lopez on Saturday morning in Lincolnton, North Carolina. The incident occurred at RSI Home Products’ Plant #2 on Lincoln County Parkway, where Lopez sustained severe injuries after becoming entangled in a Holzman Angular saw.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after 8:30 a.m., and Lopez was rushed to Carolinas Medical Center-Lincoln. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.
