Fatal Miami-Dade I-95 death of Nahomi Cittadini – Obituary

Miami-Dade authorities have identified 22-year-old Nahomi Valentina Cittadini, also known as Nahomi Cittadini, as the woman found deceased along an Interstate 95 northbound ramp near Ives Dairy Road early Saturday morning.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to reports of an argument between two individuals around 6 a.m. and discovered Cittadini’s lifeless body, partially covered with a yellow tarp and surrounded by scattered clothing. The ramp at Northeast 203 Street was temporarily closed for investigation.

Law enforcement is investigating possible connections between Cittadini’s case and a police pursuit in Broward County later that day. During the chase, a crash occurred on Miramar Parkway and Red Road, leading to the arrest of Lorent Pion, a 29-year-old convicted felon, on unrelated charges. Police have not confirmed whether Pion’s arrest is linked to Cittadini’s death.

Cittadini, who was set to celebrate her 23rd birthday on December 29, had a past legal history, including misdemeanor cases that were ultimately dropped by prosecutors. Detectives have urged anyone who witnessed suspicious activity near I-95 around the time of the incident to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.

The investigation remains active as authorities work to uncover the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
