Fatal Miller County pedestrian crash death of Stephen Emmett Houston, III – Obituary

Stephen Emmett Houston, III, a 5-year-old child, tragically lost his life after being struck by a car on Highway 91 South between Colquitt and Donalsonville, Georgia, on December 5, 2024.

 

The incident occurred around 6 p.m., and Stephen was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The Georgia State Patrol is conducting an investigation into the crash.

 

Stephen’s obituary highlights his deep love for his family and his enthusiasm for tractors, trains, dinosaurs, and school. His passing has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his loved ones are comforted by their faith that he is now in Jesus’ care.

 

A visitation service was scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, at the First Baptist Church of Donalsonville, followed by a celebration of life at 2 p.m. He was laid to rest at Friendship Cemetery.
