Fatal Merrimack, New Hampshire car crash death of Wanda Navarro – Obituary

A tragic multi-vehicle crash on the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Merrimack, New Hampshire, claimed the life of 63-year-old Wanda Navarro from Brimfield, Massachusetts, on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred near Exit 12, where a white Dodge Ram pickup, driven by 69-year-old James Navarro, reportedly crossed the median into oncoming traffic.

 

According to New Hampshire State Police, the southbound Dodge Ram veered into the northbound lanes, colliding with a brown GMC Sierra pickup and a white Nissan Versa sedan. Emergency responders arrived around 12:55 p.m. and found significant damage to several vehicles and multiple individuals injured.

 

Wanda Navarro, a passenger in the Dodge Ram, was transported to Elliot Hospital but succumbed to her injuries. James Navarro, the driver, sustained minor injuries and was evaluated at the scene. A passenger in the GMC Sierra was seriously injured but is expected to survive.

 

The crash led to the closure of all northbound lanes and one southbound lane for approximately three hours. Investigators are still determining what caused the Dodge Ram to cross the median, and no charges have been filed at this time.
