Fatal Cicero shooting and crash death of Justin Washington – Obituary
On Sunday, December 8, Justin Washington, 30, from Chicago, tragically lost his life in a shooting and crash in suburban Cicero. Washington was a passenger in a vehicle that came under fire at the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Cicero Avenue, around noon. Two masked assailants in a separate car opened fire on Washington’s vehicle, fatally injuring him and wounding three women inside, including the driver.
The gunfire caused a collision, which left three other individuals hurt. Two of the women have been released from the hospital, while the third remains in stable condition. Authorities believe the shooting was a targeted attack, not a random act of violence.
The suspects, who fled in a white vehicle, remain at large. Cicero Police, alongside the West Suburban Major Crimes Task Force, are conducting an investigation. They have urged anyone with information to come forward to assist with the case.
