Pritpal Singh dies in fatal Brampton shooting
Fatal Brampton shooting death of Pritpal Singh – Obituary
Pritpal Singh, a 26-year-old man, was shot and killed late last week in a violent attack outside a home on Odeon Street near Concorde Drive in Brampton. The incident occurred on the night of December 4, with Peel Regional Police responding to reports of multiple gunshots just after 11:30 p.m.
Video footage of the shooting, verified by CP24, shows two individuals clearing snow from a vehicle in a driveway when a white four-door sedan approaches. A shooter exits the vehicle’s back-left door and begins firing, with approximately 20 shots heard in the footage. Two suspects are seen leaving the sedan during the incident.
Singh was fatally wounded and pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim, shot in the arm, was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police believe the attack was targeted but have not yet made any arrests.
Shortly after the Brampton shooting, another related shooting occurred in Caledon. While no injuries were reported in that incident, authorities are investigating both cases in collaboration with the Ontario Provincial Police.
Police are urging anyone with information, security footage, or dashcam recordings to contact them or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
