Aaron Soto and Angel Loera die in fatal Phoenix crash

Fatal Phoenix crash death of Aaron Soto and Angel Loera – Obituary.

Two individuals were killed in a collision involving a car and a semi-truck early Tuesday morning near 35th and Grand avenues in Phoenix.

According to Phoenix police, the crash occurred around 7 a.m. when a car traveling northwest on Grand Avenue struck the back of a tractor-trailer. Witnesses reported that the car, driven by 28-year-old Aaron Soto, was moving at an extremely high speed. Angel Loera, also 28, was a passenger in the vehicle.

Both Soto and Loera succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The semi-truck driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police stated that the truck driver showed no signs of impairment.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
