Fatal Hazel Green car crash death of Levi J. Meeker – Obituary

Levi J. Meeker, 22, from Tennessee, tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning in Hazel Green. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Meeker was driving a 2020 Ford F150 when he lost control of the vehicle on Charity Lane near Lemley Road, striking several trees. The crash occurred at around 5:20 a.m., and Meeker was ejected from the vehicle due to not wearing a seatbelt. He was pronounced dead at the scene. ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate the incident.
