Seth Young, a 39-year-old resident of Heath, Ohio, tragically lost his life in a four-vehicle collision on Tuesday morning in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office reported that Young was driving a sedan northbound on Emerson Avenue when his vehicle crossed the center line around 7 a.m., colliding with three other vehicles. Young was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another driver involved in the crash sustained severe injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The crash led to a temporary closure of the roadway as investigators worked to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
